for me, the imaginary is a shared field where inherited meanings can be unsettled, recombined, and made strange again. what has been naturalized as private, fixed, or self-contained can be returned to relation; our capacity to act does not end at the edge of the self. possibility begins when this world no longer appears to be the only one.
